GOVERNOR BADAGBU DECLARES WES READY FOR ELECTIONS IN HIS REFORM BRIEFING

The Governor of Western Equatoria State and SPLM State Chairperson, Badagbu Daniel Rimbasa, has declared that the SPLM is fully prepared for the upcoming general elections, citing a return to peace and a resurgence of party support in the state. Governor Badagbu made the remarks on Tuesday during a briefing with SPLM Secretary-General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit at the party Secretariat. The meeting covered the general political situation in Western Equatoria, the SPLM’s programme and progress, and the state-level party reform agenda. Secretary-General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit welcomed the progress report and urged the Governor to diligently implement the vision of the SPLM. He further directed Governor Badagbu to formally present the state government’s SPLM-aligned policies to the Secretariat for coordination and support.
