<p >Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has renewed his call to reclaim public spaces and recreational centers that are currently occupied. He cited a recent Council of Ministers memo directing the State Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, in coordination with the Juba County Commissioner and the Mayor of Juba City Council, to map and assess the status of all public spaces and recreational centers for appropriate action by the State Government. He made the remarks while officiating the opening of Juba Dream Park.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p><p> </p><p >Governor Adil commended former Governor Clement Wani Konga for envisioning the refurbishment of the park. He noted that the project has now been completed in line with Vision 2040, which identifies human development and livable cities as a major pillar. While thanking the Bahgat Group, an Egyptian company, for implementing the project, Governor Adil stated that the park will strengthen family bonds, improve mental wellbeing, create job opportunities, and provide a safe environment for children to play and for leisure. He reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment under his leadership to invest in recreation, sports, and culture. He also called on development partners and the business community to invest in the construction of more parks and recreational centers. The Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan, H.E. Amb. Hazem Mamdouh Fawzy, described the project as an example of the strong bilateral relationship between Egypt and South Sudan. <o:p></o:p></p>
