The Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services convened a leadership meeting on the country’s current economic situation and its impact on the ministry parastatals. Caretaker Information Minister Ateny has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the economic crisis. Deputy Secretary General of the Universal Service and Access Fund, Deng Mayom Akech says the meeting also deliberated on the accreditation of Journalists ahead of the December 2026 general elections.
