The government has confirmed signing a new memorandum of understanding with the United States aimed at strengthening healthcare and education across the country.
This follows a briefing by Vice President for the Service Cluster, Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, to President Salva Kiir Mayardit at the State House in Juba, after his recent visit to Lakes State.
During the briefing, Vice President Akol also updated the President on the successful graduation ceremony at Rumbek University and his engagements with local leaders and residents on pressing concerns.
President Kiir welcomed the update as the government continues to focus on infrastructure development, security, and improved access to essential services nationwide.
