the national negotiation committee for Abyei Final status, chaired by the presidential envoy for special program Adut Salva Kiir, convenes an introductory meeting as part of advancing its mandate. The meeting follows the submission of the Abyei file to Adut’s office for review before commencing an actual work. The Meeting has brought together minister of defence and veteran affairs, deputy minister of foreign affairs and all committee members.
