NBGS Gov’t Launches A Four-Year Education Project

Northern Bahr El Ghazal State Ministry of General Education and Instruction, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee has launched a four year education project in the state capital Aweil. Funded by the LEGo foundation, the initiative is implemented through a consortium comprising ICR and War Child Alliance. The State Minister of Education, Deng Deng Bol expressed gratitude to ICR for spearheading the project. Project facilitator, Elifrida Japhet highlighted that the initiative would focus on capacity building for teachers and strengthening parent teacher association to foster effective learning environment. Meanwhile, ICR Field Manager, Manga Bernard called on the state government to maintain close collaboration with humanitarian and development organization.
