<p >The Governor of the Bank of South Sudan, Johnny Ohisa Damian, and the United Kingdom Ambassador to South Sudan, David Ashley, have engaged in discussions on strengthening cooperation, particularly in the areas of liquidity management and monetary policy.<o:p></o:p></p><p >The BoSS Governor briefed the Ambassador on strategies to address ongoing liquidity challenges, citing the recent allocation of cash to commercial banks to facilitate salary payments and enable depositors to access their funds more easily.<o:p></o:p></p><p> </p><p >He also highlighted South Sudan’s participation in the recent IMF–World Bank Group Spring Meetings held in Washington, D.C. Governor Ohisa noted that a donor conference for South Sudan was held on the sidelines of the meetings, aimed at identifying ways to support the country<o:p></o:p></p>
