A government delegation, led by the Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Ateny Wek Ateny, is in Nairobi, Kenya ahead of Monday’s meetings with Kenyan authorities on strengthening cooperation in energy sector. According to Information Ministry, the sub-committee delegation will hold discussions on ever-increasing energy prices in South Sudan. The visit of the Sub-committee of Ministerial High-level Committee on Economic Reforms ,is part of its broader effort to address challenges affecting South Sudanese citizens. The delegation includes Ministers of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Dr. Wek Mamer Kuol, and of Trade and Industry, Dr. Margaret Labanya Mathya, as well as Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Thok Turuk Thok.
