The South Sudan Athletics Federation, in partnership with Digital Company, officially launched the second edition of the Independence Marathon 2026 in Juba.  The marathon aims to promote peace, unity, and national cohesion among South Sudanese citizens.

He announced that participants in the Masters, Senior, and Junior categories will compete in a 10-kilometre race, with the top ten finishers in each category receiving awards.
