Bentiu Embarks On Food Aid Distribution To Elderly Across IDPs Camp

The Government of Unity State has distributed food assistance to more than three thousand individuals, mainly the elderly, persons with disabilities, and people with special needs in Bentiu IDPs Camp. Secretary General of the Government of Unity State, Bigoah Kuong, says the initiative reflects the state’s plan to alleviate hunger and improve the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. He says the distribution is being carried out across five sectors within the IDPs Camp as part of Governor Dr Joseph Manytuil’s initiative to support vulnerable families affected by acute food insecurity linked to climate change.
