GOVERNOR JAMES DIRECTS MALAKAL MAYOR TO REVIVE SOCIAL COHESION

The Governor of Upper Nile State, James Koang Chuol, has instructed Malakal mayor to prioritize service delivery, security, and stability for a shared social and economic development. Governor Chuol made the remarks while overseeing the swearing-in ceremony of Mayor Tor Riam and his two deputies responsible for administration, finance, and land affairs. Governor Koang emphasizes the need for effective local governance and improved basic services for citizens. In his remarks, Mayor Tor Riam pledges to work closely with all stakeholders to enhance security and create a conducive environment for the delivery of essential services, particularly education and healthcare.
