PRESIDENT KIIR SAYS PEACE DEAL HAS NOT BENT DURING A PUBLIC RALLY IN WAU

in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal, where President Salva Kiir Mayardit has reaffirmed his government’s firm commitment to fully implementing the Revitalised Peace Agreement, clearing the path for a democratic transition and elections later this year. Addressing thousands of residents, the President dismissed claims that the peace deal has collapsed, urging citizens to reject misinformation and remain confident that implementation remains on course.
