The SPLM, Secretary General. Akol Paul Kordit, has personally committed to sponsoring the medical treatment of Manyang Machar, a young boy who has endured three years of illness reliant on a supra-pubic catheter. He pledges in a meeting with Health Undersecretary and officials from the National Public Health Institute, entrusted with coordination with the SPLM leadership to facilitate the Child’s medical care. Additionally, SPLM National Secretariat has initiated a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party, signalling a new chapter in bilateral political cooperation.
