President Salva Kiir has directed the governors of Central Equatoria, Western Equatoria, and Lakes states to strengthen security, promote peace, and accelerate preparations for the country's upcoming elections. The President issued the directives on Monday after receiving separate briefings from the three governors on the security, development, and governance situation in their respective states.
