<p >At the statehouse Where President Salva Kiir has instructed<b> </b>nationwide power expansion to improve livelihoods<b>. </b>The Head of state made the instruction upon being briefed by the<b> </b>Minister of Energy and Dams Agok Makur Kur on the implementation of the president’s order on electricity tariffs and revenue-sharing arrangements between the Ministry of Energy and JEDCO under a 60-40 percent formula towards supporting economic growth and industrial development. The minister also revealed that the Egyptian government plans to donate power plants to Yambio, Rumbek, and Bor. <o:p></o:p></p><p > </p><p >According to Makur, Egyptian engineers are expected to arrive soon in Rumbek to begin maintenance work on the town’s power station.
