Staff at the Office of the First Lady, Mary Ayen Mayardit, gathered to welcome the newly appointed Special Advisor on Social Development, Monydeng Akok Wol.
Advisor Wol, accompanied by Presidential Chief Administrator Maring Nanga, and Presidential Press secretary Arek Ajou Deng, has been entrusted with the responsibility of advising the First Lady on social policies and development strategies, including recommending solutions to social challenges such as poverty, unemployment, inequality, gender issues, and community development.
Wol pledged to work with diligence, teamwork, and dedication towards achieving shared success, expressing appreciation to President Salva Kiir Mayardit and First Lady Mary Ayen Mayardit for their continued trust and confidence in his ability to serve in the advisory role.
An Advisor on Social Development is responsible for guiding policies, programs, and initiatives aimed at improving the social welfare and living conditions of citizens.
