<p >The<b> </b>Minister of Energy and Dams, Agok Makur Kur, convened talks with the Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State, Sharif Daniel Sharif to advance efforts aimed at revamping the state’s electricity sector. The meeting discussed challenges facing the development of services, and opportunities to attract investment in the energy sector to support development and strengthen security and stability. Sharif called for stronger coordination and cooperation between the state and the Ministry to develop electrical infrastructure, noting that a number of development and investment projects in the state require a stable electricity supply. He also invited the Minister to visit Western Bahr el Ghazal to assess the sector’s needs on the ground and explore opportunities for its further development.<o:p></o:p></p>
