<p >Police have deployed hundreds of police personnel to provide security during the celebration of the 43rd South Sudan Liberation Day, which led to the independence of South Sudan from Sudan. The Assistant Inspector General for General Administration, Lt. General Majak Arol Kachual, together with the Assistant Inspector General for Operations, Lt. General Mading Dour oversaw the deployment of forces.<b> </b>In a media briefing at the Police General Headquarters in Buluk, the Police Spokesperson, Major General Daniel Justin, said the two senior police generals directed the forces to cooperate with civilians during and after the celebration. Daniel said the forces were also instructed to counter any form of criminal activity that may arise during the celebration. He warned that unnecessary shooting on the eve of the celebration is prohibited. The police will be deployed to public gathering places and key installations to ensure the safety and security of the public throughout the celebrations.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>
