WATER AUTHORITIES HOLD CONSULTATIVE MEETING DYKES IN BOR

The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation conducted a two day consultative meeting that brings communities in Bor South and Twic East to listen their views in regard to survey work for the rehabilitation of dykes in the area. The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation James Mawich   Makuach, says the high level consultative meeting aims at briefing the community members on the project areas which includes rehabilitation of Bor South and Twic East dyke and other associated infrastructures in Jonglei State. The Deputy Governor of Jonglei state Wilson Gaijang Awoul, urges local communities in the state to support the Government efforts the construction of ninety-four kilos meters’ dyke mitigate floods in the area.
