500 BE RECRUITED AS IGP, PIBOR CHIEF AGREE ON RAD BORDER POLICE DEPLOYMENT

The Pibor Chief Administrator Gola Boyoi Gola, and the Inspector General of Police, General Said Chawul Lom, have discussed the deployment of police personnel in Rad along the South Sudan–Ethiopia border. The two leaders also discussed the recruitment of police personnel in the area. Speaking shortly after the meeting, Gola Boyoi Gola says the Police Chief welcomes the proposal to deploy border police officers in the border town of Rad. The Police Spokesperson, Major General Daniel Justin, says the police leadership has authorized the Pibor Administrative Area to recruit five hundred individuals for police training to help maintain law and order in the region.
