AL-MERRIKH BENTIU CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE SOUTH SUDAN CUP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR HISTORY

Al-Merrikh Bentiu won the 15th edition of the South Sudan Cup after defeating Al-Ghazala Wau 2–1 in the final match played this afternoon. The exciting, rain-soaked encounter saw the “Red Flame” secure the title and lift the trophy for the first time in the club’s history. The closing ceremony was attended by Atong Kuol Manyang, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Francis Amin Michael, President of the Football Association, along with several officials and sports personalities.
