The Minister of Energy and Dams, Agok Makur Kur, engages in talks with the Head of the European Union Delegation led by the EU Ambassador to South Sudan Per Enar Enarsson, on strengthening cooperation in the energy and dams sectors following up on the Ministry’s strategic projects and programmes. Discussions focused on supporting electricity generation and renewable energy projects, as well as developing electricity networks and energy and dam’s infrastructure. Minister Kur has reaffirmed the Ministry of Energy and Dams’ commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with the European Union and international partners to support the implementation of strategic projects, advance the energy sector, and improve electricity services in South Sudan. For his part, Ambassador Enarsson welcomed continued cooperation with the Ministry, stressing the importance of strengthening the partnership between the European Union and South Sudan in the energy sector and supporting sustainable energy projects.
