Government has signed an MoU with De La Rue on Currency Management partnership that allows the company to provide a specialized technical expertise and extensive support across key areas currency lifecycle, including currency planning and forecasting, quality management and currency circulation in a manner that boosts public confidence in South Sudanese Pounds. The partnership agreement also paves way for building a sustainable currency management capacity at the Bank of South Sudan, support modernization of currency management framework in line with the international standards and best practices and strengthens the security, resilience and integrity of the county’s monetary and fiscal system. Clive Vacher, Chief Executive Officer signed on behalf of De La Rue company, in a meeting attended chaired by the Minister of Finance and Planning, Kuol Daniel Ayulo and representatives of the firm, as Governor of the Bank of South Sudan, Addis Aababa Othow’s signature represents South Sudan’s government.
