The EU continues to support peace and stability as factors in fostering national elections at the conclusion of the transitional period, following a meeting between the Minister of Interior Aleu Ayieny Aleu and the European Union Ambassador to South Sudan, Pelle Enarsson on deepening bilateral cooperation between South Sudan and the EU countries. Aleu says their discussion also centres on advancing collaborations aimed at supporting the Directorate of Nationality passport and immigration towards a possible establishment of Nimule one-stop port project to boost regional trade. Diplomat Enarsson stresses EU’s unwavering support for the nation’s upcoming national polls.
