A government delegation led by Caretaker Minister of Finance and Planning, Athian Diing Athian has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, for the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Annual Meetings. The delegation includes Bank of South Sudan Governor, Dr. Addis Ababa Othow and other senior officials from Finance and Central Bank. The annual meetings, running from October 12 to 18, are expected to provide opportunities for discussions on economic issues and matters of mutual interest through a series of sideline engagements. The annual gathering brings together government officials, business leaders and international organizations to discuss global economic developments and development challenges.
