SPLM clarifies nomination forums for 2026 general elections

The SPLM has clarified that candidates and party members in the states and administrative areas do not need to travel to Juba for the ongoing nomination forums. The Acting SPLM Secretary for Culture and Information, Jimi Otilo, says the forums currently being conducted at the National Secretariat in Juba are specifically for party members and candidates who are already in the capital. He says candidates based in the states and administrative areas should remain in their respective locations and follow the nomination process from there.
