The United Kingdom reaffirms its continued support for peace and stability in South Sudan, with a renewed focus on strengthening humanitarian assistance and improving basic services in education and healthcare. The commitment comes as President Salva Kiir bids farewell to outgoing British Ambassador to South Sudan David Ashley, marking the end of his tour of duty in the country. Caretaker Foreign Affairs Minister Cecilia Adut Manyok says President Kiir expresses appreciation to Ambassador Ashley for his dedicated service to the people of South Sudan throughout his tenure.
