The Minister of Youth and Sports, Atong Kuol Manyang Juuk, has engaged the Turkish-African business community on investment opportunities in South Sudan’s sports sector. Speaking to the Turkish African Business Association, TABA, the Minister outlined plans for a modern National Sports Complex with facilities for multiple sporting disciplines, national competitions, professional training and community programmes.

She also called for investment in a state-of-the-art National Stadium and sports arenas capable of hosting international football and other major sporting events, saying the facilities could also support hospitality, retail, broadcasting, entertainment and tourism.
