The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement has intensified preparations for South Sudan’s first general elections, launching a mass membership registration drive SPLM members of Maridi, Western Equatoria State. Senior party leaders, including the SPLM Secretary General and the Presidential Affairs Minister attended the event in Maridi County, calling for unity and peace as the country moves toward the 2026 polls.
