The Ministry of Finance and Planning holds a Treasury Single Account and awareness and sensitization programme in Juba.
The First Undersecretary of Finance, Malual Tap Dieu urges participants to engage actively and with open minds throughout the discussions.
The programme is being conducted with support from the World Bank under the Public Financial Management and Institutional Strengthening. The project is aimed at implementing reforms to strengthen public financial management and enhance the capacity of government ministries. As part of these ongoing reforms, the Ministry of Finance and Planning is preparing to establish a fully functional Treasury Single Account for South Sudan, one of the key components currently prioritized under the country’s public financial management reforms.
