The Inspector General of the South Sudan Police Gen. Said Chawul Lom has attended the official inauguration of the Global Public Security Forum in Lianyungang, China. The conference brought together police chiefs and security officials from around the world to discuss international cooperation in public security, including data and information sharing, surveillance solutions, and counter-terrorism efforts. The Global Public Security Forum provides a platform for law enforcement agencies to strengthen cooperation in addressing emerging security threats. Discussions at the forum focused on the use of security installation and surveillance technologies, information sharing, and coordinated approaches to combating terrorism. South Sudan’s participation is expected to provide an opportunity for the National Police Service to exchange experiences with international law enforcement agencies and explore areas of cooperation in strengthening public security.
The forum is being held in Lianyungang, China, bringing together police chiefs and security representatives from across the globe.
