<p >The Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Rt. Hon. Joseph Ngere Päciko, has held bilateral talks with the Speaker Western Equatoria Assembly, Ann Tuna Richard, on parliamentary cooperation and institutional capacity building. The discussions focus on strengthening relations between the National AND STATE Assemblies while enhancing the capacity of state parliamentarians to effectively carry out their legislative, oversight and representation roles. The two Speakers also discussed the proposed <b>Speakers’ Forum</b>, which is intended to harmonize parliamentary practices, promote inter-parliamentary dialogue and strengthen legislative coordination across states and administrative areas.<o:p></o:p></p>
