<p>The Bank of South Sudan has begun a five-day validation programme on the Draft National Payment System Bill 2025 in Juba. The programme, running from August 10 to 14, brings together officials from the Bank of South Sudan, members of the National Legislative Assembly, the East African Community Secretariat, the Ministry of Justice and other stakeholders. Participants are reviewing key provisions of the proposed legislation, including payment system licensing and supervision, electronic money, payment settlement, consumer protection, data protection and regulatory measures.Β </p>
