The Minister of Information, Telecommunication and Postal Services, Ateny Wek Ateny, has traveled to Kenya to attend the 15th Annual Connected Africa Summit (CAS 2026), scheduled to take place from April 27 to 30 at the Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi.
The summit brings together senior government officials, private sector leaders, and development partners to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation.
Speaking at Juba International Airport prior to his departure, Minister Ateny says the visit follows an invitation from his Kenyan counterpart, noting that such engagements enhance the country’s capacity for policymaking and provide valuable experience that can be applied to South Sudan’s development.
