The opening of the international arrival and departure terminals at Juba International Airport has been postponed indefinitely, following a field visit by Transport Minister Rizik Zakaria Hassan, accompanied by the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Ayai Garang Deng, on Monday. These terminals were expected to be opened on July 9, coinciding with the country's celebrations of the fifteenth anniversary of independence. The Minister of Transport states that the postponement was due to the incomplete technical and engineering work, adding that the terminal three would be ready in less than a week, or after July 9, 2026.
