During the meeting, UNICEF briefed the Vice President on ongoing programmes supporting health and education, with particular attention to improving the welfare of vulnerable children across the country. The discussions also addressed preparedness and preventive measures against a possible Ebola outbreak in South Sudan, emphasizing coordinated efforts to strengthen disease surveillance, public awareness, and emergency response mechanisms.
