AGRICULTURE MINISTER AND WES GOVERNOR DISCUSS BOOSTING AGRICULTURE

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Clement Juma, and the Governor of Western Equatoria State, Daniel Rimbasa, have discussed supporting organized farming groups and cooperative societies across the country, as well as revitalizing national farming projects and agricultural institutes. These efforts aim to provide more agricultural training for farmers in order to increase food production and combat hunger nationwide. Minister Juma emphasized that his ministry is working to transform the agricultural sector from a subsidy-based system to a more modern and mechanized system.

Governor Daniel Rimbasa reported that his government has allocated more than two thousand hectares of land for agricultural projects across the state.
