Government of Unity State has launched food distribution in Riotriak Town, Rubkona County, marking the official commencement of general food distribution across the counties of the State. As directed by Governor Dr. Joseph Manytuil Wejang, the food assistance aims to support local communities in coping with the adverse effects of climate change, which have contributed to acute food insecurity across the State.Team leader for food distribution Nyayiey Gatluak says the move targets to empower farmers with the food assistance as they engage in cultivation. The distribution exercise benefited over two thousand five hundred households.
