TRAINING ON PUBLIC INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT CLOSES

The Ministry of Finance and Planning has concluded a five-day program on understanding Public Investment Management [PIM] organized by the Directorate of Sectoral Planning headed by its Director General, John Garang Awan.

 

Organizers stressed the importance of the programme in strengthening public investment officers in understanding project conceptualization, quality and entry practices and project pre-screening through the practical application of the project concept note template and scoring criteria while identifying current capital development needs for the effective project screening within the Public Financial Management unit.

the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Thok Turuk Thok commends the facilitators for their tremendous job by imparting knowledge on the ministry’s technical staff for the Directorate of Sectoral Planning, calling for a comprehensive report of the training to be presented to the ministry’s leadership for further action.
