HUMANITARIAN MIN. AKOL, RUSSIAN ENVOY DISCUSS RELIEF COOPERATION

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Albino Akol Atak, and the  Russian Ambassador to South Sudan, Alexander Kosmodemyansky, to discuss strengthening humanitarian cooperation.

The meeting focused on disaster response, emergency preparedness, and support for communities affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters across the country.

Minister Albino Akol Atak said the discussions explored humanitarian partnerships and areas of cooperation between South Sudan and the Russian Federation.

Diplomat Alexander reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts aimed at improving the wellbeing of vulnerable populations in South Sudan.
